Harry Potter fans marvelled at the magic during Victorian Arcade's half term event

On Saturday 18th February Harry Potter fans were treated to a magical day of 'potion' making when a Professor Snape lookalike visited Victorian Arcade in Walsall.

In celebration of the February half term, shoppers and their families were invited to join the 'Professor' as he hosted a free potions masterclass. Visitors were given the opportunity to follow 'Snape' as he led an interactive workshop for youngsters so they could create their very own 'magical' potions.

A free face painter was available throughout the day transforming youngsters into their favourite wizarding characters whilst visitors to the event could take cherished photos in front of a Platform 9¾ themed backdrop. The famous Sorting Hat was also on hand to help shoppers feel even more a part of the wizarding world.

Darren Griffiths, Senior Regional Facilities Manager of GBR Phoenix Beard for Victorian Arcade, commented:

"Our Harry Potter half term event was certainly a real hit with our local shoppers! It was fantastic to see so many youngsters really getting into the magical spirit and having fun.

"Here at Victorian Arcade we pride ourselves on offering free entertainment to the Walsall community and I would like to take this opportunity to remind residents of our fantastic animal farm event will be taking place this Easter holiday on Saturday 15th April."
